Scam Avoided!

Scam avoided!

We were contracted to do a physical inspection for a 1968 Camaro today for a potential long distance purchase. We scheduled the visit and upon arrival find that it was an abandoned transmission shop. We stop at a couple local businesses to make sure that we may have the wrong location, no one in the community had heard of the dealership. The inspection service saved the customer over $40,000 if he hadn’t retained a reputable service such as ours to verify his purchase.

We have heard many stories such as this over the years and this isn’t our first time at finding it also. It’s really disappointing to the new customer because this is their dream car they’re potentially buying, a car they’ve saved for many years to purchase only to find out that the business is non existent and the pics are stolen from another dealer’s website.

Be smart with your money and book a reputable appraisal company that is knowledgeable about classic cars and what this investment means. It’s well worth paying a retainer fee to save many thousands of dollars from a scammer.

The website the scammers are using is www.rodz-autosales.com.
